Workshop on How to Pitch and Write for Non-Academic Outlets

In the Pitch Workshop The Los Angeles Review of Books Editor-in-Chief, Medaya Ocher, will offer general guidance as well as direct feedback on pitches.

 

You can participate in two different ways: (1) Apply with a pitch for the possibility to be selected to receive feedback as part of the workshop and with the possibility to sign up for short follow up “office hours,” or, (2) RSVP to sit in on the workshop without a pitch.

 

Schedule, Monday, May 6 

Workshop: 10-12 noon

Lunch: 1-2pm

Office hours: 2-4pm

 

Application Eligibility: The program is available for UCLA ladder faculty, adjuncts and lecturers, postdocs, and graduate students.
