Please join the Program in Indo-European Studies on Friday November 9 and Saturday November 10 in Royce Hall 314 for the Thirtieth Annual UCLA Indo-European Conference.  The featured speakers are Eystein Dahl (UiT The Arctic University of Norway) and Jay Jasanoff (Harvard University).

Indo-European Studies focuses on the linguistics and cultures of the Indo-European language family.  This family includes, among many other languages, Latin, the Romance Languages, German, English, Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu, Farsi, Lithuanian and Russian.  This event will be relevant to those with interests in these languages and in Linguistics in general.  Additionally, since Indo-European Studies examines comparative mythology and poetics, this event will be of interest to others in the Humanities as well.
