The UCLA Department of Spanish and Portuguese invites applications for full-time and/or part-time Lecturers for the 2016-2017 academic year to teach undergraduate and graduate courses for Spanish linguistics majors as well as teaching Spanish language courses for the program.
The teaching load will be five to eight courses per year (depending on course assignments) with course assignments to be determined by the department, possibly including any of the following: Spanish phonetics/phonology, acoustic phonetics, syntax, psycholinguistics, speech perception, language acquisition, introductory courses in linguistics, and language classes (any level). Ability to teach Portuguese language and/or linguistic courses is a plus.
