Michelle Bolton Public Relations

Bolton is owner of her own public relations firm representing high-end hotels, destinations, restaurants, corporate and technology clients. Clients have included The Ritz-Carlton, Huntington Hotel & Spa, The Ritz-Carlton, Rancho Mirage, as well as Omni and Marriott properties in San Francisco. Destinations have included Corvallis Oregon Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority. Additionally, her agency represented LA’s famed Patina restaurant, run by internationally known executive chef and proprietor Joachim Splichal, and Asia de Cuba at the Mondrian Hotel. Many high-profile special events have also been clients including the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association’s annual Beastly Ball fundraiser.

Daniel Miller

Daniel Miller is an enterprise business reporter for the Los Angeles Times, working on investigations, features and projects. An L.A. native and UCLA graduate, he joined the staff in 2013. He previously reported on the business of entertainment for five years.

Janna Macatangay

Creative Media and Video Professional | Associate Social Media Strategist at BuzzFeed

Janna Macatangay is a creative professional working as a Social Media Strategist at BuzzFeed, where she works with producers from As/Is, LadyLike, Tasty, Nifty, and Goodful to create engaging content on YouTube. She previously worked at Fullscreen Media, working with entertainment companies such as E! Entertainment and Netflix to grow their YouTube channels. In 2016, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in Film, Television, and Digital Media. She was also involved with the Daily Bruin, Studio 22, Samahang Pilipino Cultural Night, and New Student & Transition Programs during her time there. In her spare time, Janna likes to write and create her own content, bullet journal, and practice hot yoga.

Legal Business Reporter at The Wall Street Journal

Sara Randazzo is a reporter at the Wall Street Journal, based in Los Angeles. She covers the comings and goings of the nation’s largest law firms, trends at law schools, and complex litigation. Sara has covered the legal industry for 10 years, starting soon after graduating from UCLA in 2008. She fell into legal reporting when she found her first job in downtown Los Angeles at the Daily Journal and has stuck with it ever since. Her career took her to San Francisco and New York before she returned to Los Angeles in 2016. She lives in Highland Park with her husband, who is a reporter at Reuters.

Megan is currently a fourth-year English major and Education minor. She is the Co-Campus Correspondent of Her Campus at UCLA, a Site Leader and Education Class Director for Project Literacy, and a Developmental Editor for Aleph Undergraduate Research Journal for the Humanities.
