Conrad Contreras
Marketing Manager | LinkedIn

Conrad Contreras graduated from UCLA with a degree in Human Biology and Society and a minor in Asian American Studies. Formerly UCLA’s student body external vice president, he was heavily involved in activism and policy to advance underserved communities. After a few years in political and public policy communications, he now leads marketing for several product launches at LinkedIn in the San Francisco Bay Area.

 

Brenda Lienh
Senior Product Manager | Insider Inc. (Business Insider)

Brenda Lienh is currently a Sr. Product Manager at Insider, Inc. (Business Insider). Before graduating with her Communications Studies degree from UCLA, she built her professional skills by interning in marketing and business development roles at several entertainment studios. Since then, she’s had experience in Consulting, Product Management and Product Marketing across the media, tech & entertainment industry at companies such as Accenture, Hulu and Disney. She’s currently focused on creating great products to help grow and optimize the Insider audience and subscription base!

Eunice Liu
Senior Product Manager | Insider Inc. (Business Insider)

Eunice Liu is a Conversation Designer on the Google Assistant team, with a B.A. and M.A. in Linguistics from UCLA. Prior to this, as someone who’s always been fascinated by the nuances of human language, Eunice has also helped build new text-to-speech voices, created ESL pronunciation cartoons, and worked on a speech-to-singing app.

 

Angie Howard
Software Engineer | SoundHound

Angie Howard is a Software Engineer at SoundHound. During her undergraduate career she studied abroad in Ghana and Barbados where she did field work with pidgins and creoles. Now she works on the ASR Diagnostics Team where she helps to scale and streamline pipelines developed to diagnose problems in language and acoustic models. In her freetime you can often find her SCUBA diving, reading nonfiction, or riding her folding bike.

Precious Robinson 
Program Director for Graduate and Professional School | UCLA Career Center

Precious Robinson is the UCLA Career Center’s Program Director for Graduate and Professional School Planning. She began her UCLA tenure as a general career counselor working with undergraduate and graduate students before becoming Counseling Manager of Graduate Student Services and eventually taking on the role of Manager of Undergraduate North Campus Career Services prior to serving in her current role. Previously, her employment included career counseling at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, diversity coordinating for UW-Madison’s Residential Life Department, hall directing at Central Michigan University, and program coordinating at CSU Long Beach. Enamored with higher education and all things university, Precious earned an MBA from CGU’s Drucker School of Management while also studying Industrial Organizational Psychology. Her original alma mater is the University of Georgia where she received a B.A. in sociology; she studied journalism and sociology as a graduate fellow at UW-Madison and completed her Master’s education in clinical psychology and marriage family therapy at CSU-Dominguez Hills. Early in her career, she received regional and national awards for her innovative service and programming for returning adult students engaging in career transitions. In addition to fulfilling her dream (as a career counselor) and helping others do the same (through career counseling), she delights in acting, spoken word, and creative writing. Precious is also the past President of the UCLA Black Faculty and Staff Association (BSFA) and current BSFA Vice President of Finance and Professional Development.
