Demystifying the book publication process: A conversation with UC Press editors

Acquisitions editors from the University of California Press will provide tips for reaching out to acquisitions editors, including how to write a compelling book proposal, how to revise your dissertation, and what is involved in securing a book contract. They will also talk about the UC Press First Gen Program, which supports the work of first-generation scholars. The event will be held on Sept. 18, 2024, from 2 to 4 p.m., in Royce Hall room 236.
