Preserving Your Family History

March 8 @ 10:00 am - 12:30 pm

Join us at the William Andrews Clark Memorial Library to learn the basics of understanding and caring for your family heirlooms with the Clark’s librarians and conservators from the UCLA Library Preservation & Conservation Department.

Participants may bring up to five paper-based heirlooms (no larger than 18” x 24”) from their own collections. These items will become part of the instructional display, alongside examples from the Clark Library’s stacks. Using this group display, librarians and conservators will be able to discuss and show common issues – and provide guidance for next steps and other preservation resources.

For more information and to register for this workshop, please visit our website.

This workshop is limited to 30 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration will close on Monday, February 17 at 5:00 p.m.
