Holly Kammier is the international best-selling author of Kingston Court and Choosing Hope. Co-Founder of Acorn Publishing, the UCLA honors graduate is an accomplished writing coach and a former journalist who has worked everywhere from CNN in Washington, D.C. and KCOP-TV in Los Angeles, to the NBC affiliate in small-town Medford, Oregon. The California native and mother of teenage boys, lives in San Diego, close to her friends and family.

Juan Morales is senior director, membership publications, for the Television Academy and editor in chief of emmy magazine. In this capacity, he is responsible for all editorial, production, circulation and advertising salesfor the magazine, as well as the Academy’s other publications, including the annual report and programs for the Emmy Awards, Los Angeles Area Emmys, Hall of Fame and Television Academy Honors.
Previously, he served as editor in chief ofDetour magazine, editorial director of Movieline magazine and executive editor of E! Online. In addition, his writing has appeared in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, In Style, Entertainment Weekly, Harper’s Bazaar, Redbook and other publications.
He has a B.A. in English and an M.A. in Film & Television Studies from UCLA.

Elizabeth Figuls

Beth Figuls is senior technical writer/clinical evidence specialist for Network Partners, a consulting firm serving the medical device industry, and prior to that was a senior technical writer for Medtronic Diabetes. She has worked in the healthcare and health insurance fields as a development writer at UCLA Health Sciences and marketing communications writer and editor at Kaiser Permanente, and previously as a freelance copywriter and newspaper editor. Also a fiction writer, Beth was awarded the Allegra Johnson Prize in Novel Writing from the UCLA Extension Writers’ Program in 2016. She has a B.A. in English Literature from UCLA.

Lindsay Weinberg

Lindsay Weinberg is an Associate Editor of The Hollywood Reporter, a weekly entertainment magazine in L.A. She covers lifestyle (fashion, beauty, culture, dining and travel) and interviews stars and industry professionals at red carpet events and premieres. Lindsay also writes the weekly THR Style newsletter on “How Hollywood Lives.” The Pacific Northwest native has a B.A. in Communications from UCLA, where she was an editor of the Daily Bruin and Her Campus magazine.

Danny Snelson

Danny Snelson is a writer, editor, and archivist working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at UCLA. His research and teaching blend a study of poetry and poetics with work on digital and network cultures, material text studies, and media theory. He is developing a book project tentatively titled “The Little Database: A Poetics of Media Formats,” arguing for materially-invested readings of works of print, sound, and cinema from within new media contexts. His books include Apocalypse Reliquary: 1984-2000 (Monoskop, 2018), Radios (Make Now, 2016), EXE TXT (Gauss PDF, 2015), Epic Lyric Poem (Troll Thread, 2014), and Inventory Arousal with James Hoff (Bedford Press/Architectural Association, 2011).
