Jason Araújo

Comparative Literature

Jason Araújo is a fourth year graduate student in the Department of Comparative Literature at UCLA. His work values cross-cultural dialogues and seeks to examine interactions between centers and peripheries, particularly between France and the River Plate region (Argentina and Uruguay) over the course of the long nineteenth century. In a previous life he worked as a civil servant for the US Government in Washington, DC. He holds a BA from the University of San Diego in History and French (2009), an MA in French and Francophone Studies from San Diego State University (2016), and an MA in Comparative Literature from UCLA (2018).

Ross Fenimore, Ph.D.

Ross Fenimore works as a fellowship coordinator in the Graduate Division’s Office of Fellowships and Financial Services where he manages and promotes funding for doctoral research. He serves as the Fulbright-Hays advisor for UCLA. Prior to UCLA, he taught at Columbus State Community College and Davidson College following the completion of his PhD in musicology. He was awarded an Andrew W. Mellon Fellowship in Humanistic Studies.

Jessica Rett, Ph.D.

UCLA Department of Linguistics

Jessica Rett is an Associate Professor in Linguistics at UCLA. She got her PhD from Rutgers University in 2008, and her BA in Linguistics and Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2001. She is co-chair of the Linguistics Society of America’s Committee on the Status of Women in Linguistics (COSWL) and is passionate about promoting first-generation and lower SES students in higher education.

Jeanette Reyes, M.B.A.

UCLA Anderson MSBA

As the Associate Director of the Master of Science in Business Analytics Program at UCLA Anderson, Jeanette Reyes helped launch the MSBA Program in 2017. Jeanette brings experience from several graduate programs across the University of California System, including UCLA and UCSB. Native to California and its beach cities, Jeanette earned both her BS in Business Administration and MBA in sunny Southern California. In addition to managing the admissions process and representing the MSBA Program when traveling to graduate school fairs and conferences around the world, Jeanette also oversees all program-related policies, procedures, and student affairs. Most of all, she enjoys advising and mentoring graduate students from various backgrounds and cultures.
