The Humanities Career Panel Series aims to help UCLA students translate their knowledge into successful careers.
Mission statement
Designed specifically for students majoring and minoring in the humanities, but open to all students, HCPS provides students with the necessary tools to be competitive in today’s job market. Each event offers opportunities to connect with professionals in a broad array of career fields, including business, education, technology, law, government and the nonprofit sector.
Each academic year, the series hosts panel discussions, primarily online, that enable students to learn about the various types of careers they can find in different industries and how to market the experience they have gained in UCLA Humanities courses — analytical, writing and problem solving skills, and foreign language knowledge — to employers.
