How might comics help bring our work to a wider public? How might this form make our research more accessible to audiences both within the university and beyond?
At our upcoming division-wide workshop, Professor Ignacio López-Calvo, Faculty Director of the Center for Humanities at UC Merced, will discuss the Bobcat Comics series, which pairs UC Merced professors with professional comic book artists to transform their scholarship into engaging and accessible comics.
Come learn more about how comics can translate complex research for broader audiences, create new pathways for public engagement, and offer an innovative way to share the work of humanities scholars
