Raúl Coronado is a literary and intellectual historian. He’s an Associate Professor of Ethnic Studies at UC Berkeley, and is the author of A World Not to Come: A History of Latino Writing and Print Culture (Harvard 2013), winner of the MLA Best First Book Prize, the American Studies Association John Hope Franklin Prize for Best Book in American Studies, and five other awards. From 2015-2017, he served as the inaugural President of the Latina/o Studies Association and as a founding committee member of the MLA’s Latina/o Literature and Culture Forum. He’s currently working on his next book on the history of interiority in the Latina/o-Latin American world.
