MEMSA Race Reading Group

Sponsored by MEMSA, the Race Reading Group takes place virtually and is open to UCLA faculty and graduate students. Chapter 4 from Michael Gomez’s book African Dominion, “Slavery and Race Imagined in Bilād As-Sūdān” will be under discussion. Here is a link to the text.
