Join us for an exciting opportunity to explore and discuss the influence of historical, social, political and cultural realities on our interpretations of language!

Since the beginning of the academic year, undergraduate students in the Humanities have gathered to examine cross-cultural concepts at the core of the human experience:

DUTY • DEMOCRACY • EDUCATION • WORK • GOOD/EVIL •

WAR/PEACE  HUMANITY • RESISTANCE • RELIGION & IDENTITY

Building upon these topics, students have expanded their humanistic inquiry to include literary works, historical figures, cultural phenomena, and writers they are passionate about. In this final symposium, students are invited to give a short presentation on their chosen theme. Discussions and presentations will take place in English with citations in the studied language.

Awards will be given for the best paper and other exceptional contributions to the Humanities Dialogues.

Lunch will be provided. RSVP required.
